Electric car eCarTec opened


The first German electrical motor show has been in the Bavarian capital of Munich under the name eCarTec yesterday officially opened. The exhibition will last until Thursday and have a total of 195 companies exhibited their electric cars, batteries, and drive technologies. In his opening speech, said Peter Bauer, member of the Central Association of Electrical and Electronics Industry (ZVEI) that is not the way to the electric motor is reversible if the climate protection goals are to be taken seriously.


The electric car will be in the coming years, however, be even more of a niche vehicle. In 2020, already 1 million electric vehicles are traveling in Germany. Visitors can get information on the eCarTec about electric cars, electric scooters, electric sports cars, batteries and drive technologies. The electric car manufacturers have to increase until the breakthrough of their vehicles, however, nor the scope to increase the battery life and reduce the selling price. In Germany, the Twike and CityEL are the most successful electric vehicles. There will be several years until the environmentally friendly cars equipped with an electric motor on the car market is firmly established.
